Victoria’s Premier Music Theatre Training Program for Children and Teens.

NEW: Youth Opera Studio for singers 12 – 18 years starting Saturday January 14 from 4 – 6 pm in Oak Bay and Soar with Saltwater [ Music Theatre] for children ages 8 – 12 years starting Sunday January 15, 2017 from 12:30 – 2:30 pm at Dance Victoria located at 2750 Quadra Street Victoria BC.

Do you have a child who loves singing and acting? Do you have a son or daughter who enjoys theatre or dance? Saltwater Creative Arts has been offering exceptional training programs for children and teens in the performing arts in Victoria BC. We welcome all students with a passion and interest in music to join us for group classes or private instruction with the Saltwater Creative Team.

Saltwater offers 10 – 16 week training programs that include creative drama, improvisation and movement combined with exciting performance opportunities. Students work with a highly qualified arts educator and top professionals in the theatre industry. All students are assigned individual and ensemble material in theatre and music theatre to be performed in public productions. All students are supported with voice, dance and dramatic training with the creative arts team. We offer high caliber training programs at Dance Victoria Studios located at 2750 Quadra Street. Interested students can register for individualized coaching sessions in Oak Bay in private voice, private keyboard or theory. Saltwater students have performed with YTV, Belfry Theatre, Pacific Opera of Victoria, Kaleidoscope Theatre, Blue Bridge Repertory, Victoria Operatic Society and other performing arts companies in the city.

Saltwater Theatre Productions include “Mummers Masque” a folk opera by Dean Burry; sold out productions of the beloved “Seussical the Musical” at the Metro Studio; Monday Magazine nominated “Side by Side by Sondheim”, “13 the Musical” by Jason Robert Brown and Dear Edwina the Musical and Disneys Alice in Wonderland for Children performed at the Metro Studio.
